Coins, because their small nominals, are underrated, often times even dismissed by the society invented them in the first place. Many parties utilize this fact and collect coins to actually gain incomes. These efforts could be based on various motives: fundraising for international humanitarian institutions, donation to realize religious buildings or orphanages—both with heavenly rewards as promised returns, mythical historical sites, up to traffic thugs ever-present at almost every traffic junctions of Jakarta. On the other hand, the utilization of the amounts accumulated through this process to benefit upon established market system also exists. One just need to look at the oddly calculated numbers available on products in this country’s mini- and supermarkets.
This work is an attempt to simulate the various motives behind coin accumulations and the capitalistic system that made these absurd processes of getting a great amount of profit without the awareness of the consumers. Through it, we could view whether these motives could compete with the patterns owned by established market system utilizing the accumulations of the small nominals of coins.

Biography
Moch Hasrul (born 1991, in Jakarta). Hasrul live and works in Jakarta and Bandung, Indonesia. I gaduated from Art Education Department at State University of Jakarta and Get a Master of Arts degree from the visual arts department of Bandung Institute of Technology. He interested about how using technology as result of human culture. Technology is the product of human’s knowledge and cultural product from human civilization. Hasrul often explores the medium used including alternative technologies, computational-based technology, sensors, mechanical systems, kinetic and simple technology.
