Nget Rady
Nget Rady (b. 1988, Phnom Penh) is a classical and contemporary dancer. He began his dance training when he was 11, specialising in the monkey role of Lakhaon Kaol the Cambodian male masked dance. He graduated in Choreographic Arts from Phnom Penh’s Royal University of Fine Arts. Rady has widely presented his work as a classical and contemporary dancer at many major festivals and dance platforms in US, Europe and Asia, as well as participated in a number of contemporary dance workshops. Rady has also created a number of new works, including The Feeling for Street Children and a short dance film titled Forward. He was a featured dancer in CRACK choreographed by Arco Renz which was awarded the 2012 ZKB Patronage Prize in Zurich, Switzerland, Khmeropédies III: Source/Primate choreographed by Emmanuèle Phuon, and Temporal Pattern by Hiroaki Umeda. |
