The demands of urban living risk exhaustion, stress, even depression. Stress is a physical and psychological reaction against the pressures suffered corporeally and mentally. It is vital to give our body and mind recognition, attention, and appreciation. For urban women,
demanded to excel at both domestic labours, while at the same time also serve as a breadwinner of the family, this vitality is even more paramount. Women are expected to maintain stabilities—emotional, physical, and mental—in order to serve their roles as mothers: the main pillar of everything in the family.
Stress could be rectified through self-healing, simply done anywhere. Relaxing your body and mind could be achieved by consuming herbal ingredients, aromatherapy, massage, stretching or yoga. Healing does not need to be complicated. Take herbal ingredients which enable
us to heal ourselves using available natural ingredients around us.
This work is a kind of first-aid tool kits that contains various knowledge of self-healing. Daniella invites urban women through workshops to share easy, simple and accessible self-healing knowledge, rendering these knowledge as valuable resources of urban survival in the process.
